How to register for an ABHA card?


Step 1: Access the official Ayushman Bharat website or get the ABHA app on your phone from the Google Play Store or app store. You can also register through Chemistmitra app.


Step 2: Select your method of registration. You may sign up by using:

  • Aadhar card

  • Driving license 

Step 3: Enter personal details. 

  • Aadhar card method: Using the OTP that has been sent to your registered mobile device number, confirm your Aadhaar number.

  • Driving license method: Enter the information on your driver’s license.

Step 4: Create your ABHA number. Following verification, a request to get a unique ABHA number will appear. Your health ID is this number, which you may use to access and manage your digital medical data.


Step 5: Create your ABHA profile. Give more information such as your name, gender, birth date, and contact details. Connect your medical records for convenient access.


Step 6: Receive verification. Your ABHA card will be created as soon as your details are received. A digital copy of your ABHA card will be sent to you; you can download it later.
